Founded in 2020 as Black Bass Detailing by two lifelong friends, Ben & Kevin, with a shared passion for boating and entrepreneurship, we began our journey by offering specialized detailing services to local boaters. Over the years, through dedication, craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, we cultivated a loyal clientele and built long-standing relationships across the boating community.
Today, as Black Marlin Yacht Care, our name reflects our evolved mission: to deliver world-class detailing and protection services exclusively for vessels ranging from 8 to 100 feet. Our expertise spans both saltwater and freshwater vessels, and we proudly service clients across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut.
Our commitment to excellence led us to Charleston, South Carolina, where we became Starke Yacht Care Certified — a distinction held only by professionals trained in the most advanced techniques and product applications in the marine detailing industry. This certification speaks to our technical precision, mastery of oxidation removal, multi-stage compounding, ceramic coatings, and surface protection tailored to the specific needs of each vessel.
